iMobsters Strategy Guide
Intro to iMobsters
Whether you are a new to iMobsters or have been playing for awhile, this strategy guide should help you advance quick and efficiently in the game.
Starting from the beginning
As a new character, you will not have much to work with. Don’t worry, you will start to level up and get better equipment quickly.
The best option is to choose the Tycoon class. This gives you more money for everything you do which will allow you to buy better equipment faster.
Each time you start the game, use your attack points up first. While attacking, your health will go down. If you get wounded, do not heal right away. Instead start doing your missions while wounded. The benefit to being wounded is that others won’t be able to attack you, unless you are on the hit list. This is useful because it keeps people from attacking you while you earn money from the missions. After you go through all of your stamina points on the missions, go and purchase whatever Real Estate that you can. Whatever money you have left, use it to purchase equipment or put it into your bank.
Once that process is complete, you can heal at the hospital and then use up the rest of your attack points if you have any left.
Start going through the available missions in the sequence they are listed. As you complete the missions, you will earn cash and on certain missions, you will earn stolen equipment.
When you reach the next skill level, you will earn 3 skill points.
When you complete all of the missions in a city, you will earn 6 skill points.
When you reach the next level for an Achievement, you will earn 1 skill point.
Use your skill points to buy more energy for missions. The maximum amount of energy points you should go for is around 150. It takes 5 minutes to recharge 1 energy point so if you were to go a full 24 hours without playing, you would have 288 points. As long as you play once or twice a day, 150 should be enough to always have some energy for missions.
As you get higher in level, start putting more points into stamina so that you can do more attacks. Unlike missions, you can lose attacks so try and be strategic and choose to attack people who have less people in their mobs then you. Typically, the users you can attack are within a range of 5. So if you have a mob of 9 people, you could attack someone with a mob of 5. If you have 24, you can attack someone with 20, etc… For this reason, always keep your mob at the top of the range, 9, 14, 19, etc… When you want to increase your mob size, add 5 more.
At the higher levels, your attack and defense points will start to not matter too much. The reason for this is that you can attack players with low levels by going to the hitlist. You could be level 200 and attack a player who is level 2 as long as they are on the hit list. Attacking people on the hit list has many advantages, such as. You are almost guaranteed to win, which gets you money, experience and a point towards the hit man achievement.
Building your mob
The most important factor is usually having a large mob, although you should try to ensure that your mob is made up of players with an equal or higher level then you. A good way to get good players into your mob is send an invite to every person who you lose a battle against. This way, you already know their character has decent stats. Send out invites all the time, even if you are not ready to grow your mob. Once a player puts in your code and you are able to add them, just leave them in your list of invited players. You can add them at any time, and they cannot remove the invite at that point. This keeps a good list of mobsters ready to be added at your disposal.
Build your mob slow and steady. If you build it too fast, your enemies that you battle will usually be higher in level and beat you. You will notice as you go through the missions that you will need to start having a certain mob size to do the mission. Keep growing your mob size at pace with your missions. When you complete a mission and need to grow your mob to do the next, then you can add more mobsters. However, before you add more mobsters and go on to the next mission; make sure you have any weapons, or equipment that are also required for the mission. These can start to cost a lot of money so make sure to get the equipment while at a lower mob size. There will be more detail on completing missions in the next chapter.
